According to THE METRO, Arsenal’s long going negotiations with the Gunners have ended in a sweet fruit for Arsenal as the Argentine Gonzalo Higuain has verbally agreed a contract to play with the Gunners from the upcoming season.
After the deal was verbally agreed between Arsenal and Gonzalo Higuain it was reported that newly appointed manager of Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti didn’t want the deal to commence because he had Argentine in his future plans.
The deal was expected to be wrapped up quickly but Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez stepped in and denied any interest from Arsenal despite of Higuain’s verbally agreed terms with The Arsenal.
Apparently this step was taken to draw out more money from Arsene Wenger’s strong transfer kitty.
Now Arsene Wenger wants Higuain to step up and commence his verbally agreed terms with the Gunners.
If the deal doesn’t turn out to be successful Arsene Wenger might turn his attention towards Luis Suarez as they already have had a £30m bid rejected. Though Arsenal look favorites to land the Uruguayan if Higuain deals falls out.
