BREAKING: Arsenal’s Higuain bid rejected

Spanish newspaper Marca has claimed that the Spanish side has rejected Arsenal’s first bid of around €27 million for their top-target Gonzalo Higuain.
The Spanish club wants the London-side to increase their bid as the offer is not yet ‘acceptable’ for transfer negotiations to begin. This means that the Spanish side wants to make money from Arsenal, whereas Wenger is reluctant to spend.
It has been assumed that a deal was done and Higuain’s agent and father, Jorge Higuain, had claimed that they were permitted to hold talks with Arsenal, but it seems that things are getting a little complicated.
On the other hand, Madrid seem firmly set on their asking price of €30 million, which might put a little pressure on the Gunners, making them vulnerable to losing the striker elsewhere.
However, Marca is the only main newspaper stating this, and they are not one of the most reliable sources so you could expect a deal to happen soon.
