Arsenal manager has given an update on his team for the trip to Swansea on Saturday. The Arsenal manager has several injured worries and he is hoping Arsenal’s in form man Aaron Ramsey will be fit enough to take on Swansea on Saturday. Aside Ramsey, there are also doubts over Flamini who has equally been superb for the gunners so far this season.
on whether Flamini and Ramsey could miss Swansea…
I don’t think so. I’m quite optimistic about them. Ramsey has a little thigh problem but he should be alright. He has a test. He is going back to Wales, certainly, for him it is always special. But you know Aaron Ramsey is a tough boy. He has a test and I think he will get through. No [I wouldn't want to take a risk on him].
Wenger also confirmed Theo Walcott who only just days ago had an abdominal surgery will be out for minimum of 3 weeks and maximum of 5 weeks.
on Walcott and how his surgery went…
As well as it could go. There were no complications. You know sometimes you open and you find an unexpected problem. It was very simple.
on when Walcott could return…
Optimistic, three weeks. Realistic, five.
The French man also confirmed Santi Cazorla who has been out of first team action will be back to the team immediately after the international break which means he is likely to be in the squad when Arsena host Napoli on the first of October.
“Santi Cazorla is on schedule [to return] after the international break.”
