Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is reportedly close to sealing a deal for the Olympique Lyonnais attacking midfielder Clement Grenier after the exciting young midfielder shunned the chance to extend his stay at the French club by refusing a new deal as claimed by l’Equipe. Wenger is thought to be keen on landing the French midfielder, following a sparkling season in the league, as Grenier helped the French outfit finish as high as third in the league. With seven goals and eight assists last season, Grenier’s attacking performances have impressed Wenger, who is keen to line him up alongside the likes of Cazorla and Wilshere next season. According to French media, a fee in the region of £7m would be enough to lure the French prodigy away from the Stade de Gerland.
